We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser Consultant to join the Tibet Initiative Network Australia INC (TINA) team and be part of our vision.
Who we are?
Tibet Initiative Network Australia INC (TINA) is advocating for the Tibetan people’s right to self-determination and the protection of human rights in Tibet. Based in Australia, as a non-profit organization, we are politically independent and not affiliated with any religious institutions or political parties. Tibet Initiative Network Australia campaigns for the freedom and human rights of Tibetan people. TINA is funded by supporters, NGOs, and members across Australia.
Who we are looking for: Temporary Casual job
Working as part of the TINA team you will be responsible for the definition of the TINA fundraising strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Define the TINA fundraising strategy in Australia
- Run a crowdfunding campaign
- Solicit corporate, government, and foundation support via presentations, proposals, etc
- Solicit public donations via direct mail campaigns and donor programs
- Establish and operate endowments, bequests, and deferred-giving programs
- Conduct membership drives and fundraising campaigns
- Raise funds and awareness through special events
- Write and produce promotional material
- Publicise organisation and events
- Thank sponsors or organize sponsor appreciation programs
Profile
To be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills with a variety of stakeholders
- 2+ years’ experience working in an active fundraising team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in running a crowdfunding campaign
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of initiative and enthusiasm
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases
Based in Campbellton NSW, this position is a consultancy.

TINA’s research partner Tibet Post International (TPI) was founded in 2007 in Dharamshala, India where the headquarters of the Tibetan Government-in-Exile and residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama based over the past 60 years. TPI works to promote the human rights of Tibetans through monitoring, research, and advocacy using a wide range of sources. As a partner, TPI will provide the following services to the TINA:
